Viet Nam and other ASEAN countries would accord top priority to
developing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), delegates at a seminar
held in Ha Noi yesterday were told.
The Secretary General of the World Customs Organisation, Kunio
Mikuriya, told local media on Tuesday that the East Sea tension caused
by the placement of a Chinese loil rig in Viet Nam''s waters had affected
cargo transportation through this area.
